Lookin at  takin this truck in on a trade and thinkin about making it into a  mud/sand/ hill-n-hole style truck....  What yaw think this thing is worth??  Jus wondering if I am gonna comeout cheaper building the rest of it myself or  buyin one already built.....    I think I would have to 4link front and rear, coilover shocks and change cases and axleshafts right off the bat, but didn't think it would be a bad starting point.. Figured I would talk to the pro's on here and get some input...  Thanks

If your looking for a Race Truck look on RacingJunk.com. There are tons of trucks.  If your set on this one, Pull the running gear and Motor. Finish the restore on this truck and
put all of the running gear and motor in a S-10 and Hold On!

well the blower is a 8-71 from the pictures. ed pink blowers are ok just depends on what brand it is if parts are plentyful. You are looking at 500-1000 to restrip the blower if the rotors are'nt banged up you can go all season depending on overdrive. ed pink built some off his own design (no parts avalible) or he built them off bds style. If it is not running much overdrive rod bearings and crank bearings should last 10 races. At only 1,000hp on a blower motor I would guess it doesnt have a enderle or magneto. You can always put more overdrive on it. then dump a little nitro in the tank (10-30 %) depending on the compression ratio, fuel pump, ignition. I think you will have to upgrade the ignition system looks like a blaster coil. If you are serious I would ask what fuel pump and ignition it has. you can tell alot from the ignition and fuel system. It cant have a whole lot more power for those axles unless they spent alot of money on the internals. The truck looks good no doubt but with leaf springs and those axles you can forget about hill in hole. I would take the motor out put it in a light weight chassis with some long travel coilover suspension. Then put a NA motor in it and cruise.
