the old 2.5 ton trucks that had the old gmc web axles had a reverse rotation case in them but it was only to the front axle , rear output was still normal

Been lookin at doin the same thing in a buggy. I think I can make the rockwells spin backwards with a little machining. You could the just run a normal driveline. Haven't had time to experiment with it yet. Got to finish another truck first.

yeah i was thinking the same thing about making the axles spin backwards that seems like the easier way out but just making them spin in reverse is the problem

or how about mounting a np 200 in the reverse position would that work

The np 200 would always spin the direction of the driveshaft, so I don't think that would work. As far as making the rockwells spin backwards, I think I can do it with a little machinig and alot of rearranging!

hey jonas i think i have figured out how to make the rockwells spin reverse. take the pinion gear and shaft and switch them then machine the small bearing side to accept the big bearing and that should do it. also dus10 what type of machines do those cases come in?
